An Exhibition at the Tivoli Theatre
"Scotland Collected” features new images of Aberdeenshire such as Glen Muick, Clochnaben and Poldullie Bridge, alongside some of Howard Butterworth's older iconic images. A small selection of his prints will also be on show.
The exhibition will be open from Wednesday 13th September to Sunday 24th September 10am - 4pm.
Opens Friday 28th July
A floral summer exhibition by Howard Butterworth. Featuring new work and classics from his private collection and introducing a special limited edition print raising funds for the Friends of ANCHOR #20for20 voyage.
Opens with “meet the artist” on Friday 28th July from 2pm and continues throughout the summer, 11 am - 4 pm, Thursday - Sunday.
Much interest surrounded this iconic image of the Roup at Aultonrea in Glen Muick by Howard Butterworth at this years Scottish Home Show so we decided to share a little of the history that surrounds this famous painting.

Delighted to be showcasing new original work by Howard & Mary Louise at this years Aberdeen Art Fair.The new venue for Aberdeen Art Fair 2016 is the Beach Ballroom a landmark Art Deco building situated just a couple of minutes drive from Aberdeen’s Union Street and enjoying unlimited free car parking, open to the public from 10am until 5pm.
If you would like to come along we are able to give a complimentary entry ticket via this link. However please note that you must print this out and hand it to the reception on arrival. We look forward to seeing you in the main ballroom.
Howard Butterworth and Mary Louise Butterworth have joined in with over 50 artists to participate in the ARCHIE Foundations ‘Oor Wullie’ charity campaign 2016 .
"Oor Wheelie" by Howard and "The Dreamer" by Mary are both sponsored by John Clark Motors Group and are to be found on the ‘Oor Wullie’ Bucket Trail which is around Dundee and Tayside this summer. CLICK HERE to read more.
